This is your day...
The skipper of the day gives a short lecture on Shark anatomy and behaviour. He explains how the team works with the Sharks in the area. You then spend 3 to 4 hours at sea, depending on the frequency of Shark visits to the boat during your White Shark diving trip.
An amazing experience is to be had! 20 to 37 guests can join in on a thrilling Half Day Shark Cage Diving in Gansbaai. The cage takes 8 guests at a time on a rotational basis. All scuba equipment, including sterilized wetsuits, is provided - you don't need a scuba licence to cage dive. All dives are breath-hold which is comfortable and safe so no experience is required.
Light breakfast, tea/coffee, light lunch, snacks and refreshments are included. You can watch the DVD of your trip before being driven back to where you were collected.
You Need to Bring
- A warm jacket
- A swimming costume
- Suntan lotion, a cap and sunglasses
- Sea-sickness tablets (taken 2 hours before launch)
- Comfortable shoes
- GoPro’s are great for photos and video
