There are a variety of opportunities for whale watching in Hermanus. Guests can enjoy a boat trip out to sea with a designated operator, or take a Dyer Island cruise to view the whales up close.
On shore, the paved cliff paths of Hermanus provide panoramic views of the sea, for the more adventurous there is para-sailing, sand boarding, shark cage diving and quad biking. There are also mountain trails and hiking trails as well as scenic drives to neighbouring villages and areas of interest.
