This area is rich in fynbos plants, a most colourful national treasure. Guests have stunning views of the lagoon and towering Overberg Mountains which are very picturesque.
The back door of the farm backs onto a secluded section of Walker Bay Beach and Nature Reserve. This Farm in Stanford, Hermanus has direct access to the beach which can only be done by 4 x 4, Mosaic have an open-air Landrover for this purpose.
Once on the beach, this pristine area can be fully appreciated this is an outstanding place for Whale watching. Giant sand dunes and rocky formations give excellent vantage points. Penguins and seals can also be viewed from the beautiful beach and boulders; there is also a stone-age cave to explore.
