Whale watching in Knysna

Lake Pleasant Living is situated on the edge of Groenvlei - a freshwater lake. Placed between the towns of Knysna and Sedgefield, this hotel is the perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful with lots to explore.
Lake Pleasant is only a 30 minute drive from George Airport. Travellers can make use of direct flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg. Alternatively one can take an easy and scenic drive from Cape Town (4 hours) or Port Elizabeth (2.5 hours).
In the area of Lake Pleasant Lake, guests can see the prolific birdlife, go bass fishing, mountain biking, boating, bathing at the beaches nearby, or golfing. Water sports include shark cage diving, deep sea diving and Whale Dolphin watching.
